Jesmonite limited was invented in 1984. The original compound was acrylic-modified gypsum composite which is still sold to this day. It was conceived as a safe alternative to fibre glass (GRP) and as a lightweight alternative to traditional building materials.

Our continued commitment to invention and problem solving over the past 30 years has resulted in a range of material solution covering a myriad of internal and external applications for use across many industries including construction, marine and film.

Jesmonite® AC730 is classed as Non-Combustible when tested in accordance with AS1530.1-1994.

Using our Jesmonite raw material we’re able to produce cladding systems that are lighter than concrete, high impact resistant & most importantly, non-combustible.

Jesmonite® AC730 is a polymer based, Grade 18 GRC.
